Hey fellow internetters,

Autumn has - already - striked in and we better get used to it because it's going to be cold for a very long time. Well, at least until april.

One of the best things about autumn/winter are pamper evenings(next to Christmas offcourse). Not that you can't have those on a sunny day, but it just has another feeling when you can drop yourself in nice warm bath while it's cold and rainy outside.

We are all so curious what any other person uses as beauty products, so I'll let you take a look to my autumn/winter favourites on the bathroom shelf as well as my beauty purchases of the past month that I really love.

Bath/shower

Dove Winter Care, Limited Edition, Shower Gel

It was a good friend of mine, that encouraged me to buy this and I love it ever since. Don't we all know the feeling of having a dry skin thanks to the cold weather? This shower gel really helps to make your skin feel soft and it nourishes at the same time. It smells pretty good as well, so that's a plus.

Nivea body milk, under the shower

This is a new product here in Belgium, so I'm not sure whether you can buy this in your own country yet or if you are already knowing about this since several months/years. It's a body milk, but what's new to this is that you use it after your shower gel and WHILST your still showering! I know right... No sticky feeling afterwards and waiting for it to dry before you can put on your clothes. This body milk is so easy to use and quick as well! You have it in bigger bottles, but since it was new I wanted to try it out first. I am definitely going to repurchase this and go for a bigger bottle.

Mylène pitaya passion body scrub

I can't describe how much I love this scrub! It is the first body scrub I would actually use for the rest of my life. It doesn't only smell amazing, it also does magic to your skin. Your skin will be so soft and clean after using this scrub. How you use it, is pretty simple. You just apply it to your skin and then rinse it in the shower. I would usualy use my Dove Winter Care Shower Gel and Nivea bodymilk afterwards.

Sunlight bathfoam Camille and Honey

I really like to spend my autumn/winter evenings in the bath with loads of bubbels, candles and sometimes a selfmade hot chocolate. Since several weeks, I searched for a new bathfoam with a honey scent and I finally found one which I like to bits. This one literally smells amazing! It's also very good for your skin and you actually smell like honey after taking your bath. I love it!

Hair

f.l.t.r.

Frank Provost Shampoo and Conditioner Professional for Dyed hair

I use these two hair products for about already 2 years and keep using it. Since I dye my hair a couple times per year, I really needed to find a shampoo and conditioner that protects my hair and let it shine. The products of Frank Provost furfill that request for 100%. I highly recommend it to people who dye their hair.

John Frieda Go blonder lightening shampoo

A couple months ago, I decided to go ombre with my hair and choose for blonde. This shampoo helps to gradually lighten the blond part a bit more so it makes your hair a bit shimmery and gives it a healthy look and feel.

L'oréal Elseve Nutri Gloss Light detangle spray

My hair is pretty long, so it is an actual work out for me to comb my hair and sometimes it just tangles so much that I can't comb it like I have to. Than I use this detangle spray and it really works. I spray it on my hair, as well on my comb and my hair detangles in no time. This spray smells amazing and so does your hair after using this, so that's a really nice plus.

Tangle Teezer

Ever since my hairdresser told me about this 'comb', I never used another one. If your hair is long or tangles a lot, please buy this. It does miracles and keeps your hair healthy. When you went swimming or spend a day at the beach, use the detangle spray I just talked about together with this tangle teezer and your hair will be good in no time. I have a black one, but you can buy it in very different colours. I think my next one will me a pink or an orange one.

Facial care

Dior Hydra life Pro Youth sorbet creme

Last winter, I was pregnant and one evening my boyfriend came home with a little present(well, what he calls little). He bought me a perfume and a daily facial creme. He came home with this sorbet facial creme from DIOR. Yes, you read it good: D.I.O.R.! I was delighted! Maybe I'm overexagerating, I don't know but seriously.. How many boyfriends would come home to their pregnant girl with a sorbet facial creme from f*cking Dior as a surprise present? Exactly! Now, about this product... It is amazing(or what did you expect from this brand?) and it does a great job for your skin. I only needed to repurchase this once and I use it every morning. You don't need a lot of it, quite the opposite really.. Just one tiny dip and you are good to go. It's a bit expencive, but then again if you have to buy a cheap one every month than this creme is actually pretty cheap.. I used my first one for about six months and it costed about 40€, not so expensive right?

Mylène magic cream

If you are not keen on using foundation but want a natural glow than this creme can be a good one for you. You use it after your facial creme and it gives you a soft bronzing yet natural effect. It doesn't cover as much as foundation though, so you might want to use a concealer too but it covers a bit and let your skin glow in a positive way because of the bronzing effect.

Garnier Pure Active Fruit Energy Facial scrub and cleansing gel

These two products smell really fruity and absolutely amazing. I use them once a week before I go into the shower. The scrub cleanses your pores and let your skin shine, the gel reduces impurities in your skin and refreshes it at the same time.

Make up

Essence 3D eyeshadow - 04 Irresistible caramel cream

If you like a nude yet classy eyeshadow, just like me, than you should definitely go for this one. I use the darker shade in the corner and right above my lashes and than blend with the lighter one.

Rimmel London The max volume flash mascara

Not really much to say about this mascara other than it does the job amazingly well. It does what it promises and gives your lashes the volume you need and want. I've repurchased this one already quite a few times, so that must mean I like it, no?

Essence Stays no matter what waterproof eyeliner pen

This eyeliner is actually the first one I actually use more than once because it's so easy to use instead of the one with another liquid eyeliner. So if you know a home for liquid eyeliners that have only been used once, please tell me!

Catrice cosmetics Matt Mousse make up - shade 020 natural beige

I absofreakinlutely love this make up product. It evens out pores, lines and covers spots and so. If you want to use foundation and don't have a dry skin, than this mousse is definitely a good product to use for you. If you do have a dry skin, than I would recommend a normal foundation 'cause a mousse one would make your skin look powdery (if that's even a word, but you get what I mean)

Lip balm - Strawberry flavoured

Even opening this to take a picture made me smell it another 100 times. This lip balm not only smells great, it also taste good (if that's even a condition to be quoted "good"for a lipbalm) and it moisturizes a lot! I bought this one in Primark for only 1€, so chop chop to Primark!

Catrice cosmetics Lip stick Ultimate colour - shade 210 Pinkadilly Circus

The picture shows it a little bit more pink than it actually is, but nonetheless this lipstick is awesome. If you are new to using lipstick, than I would really recommend u to go for Catrice lipsticks. They do not only have beautiful colours, they aren't expensive at all. I think I didn't even pay more than 4 or 5 € for this one.

Hands/Nails

Dove essential nourishment handcreme deep care complex

This handcreme nourishes your skin deeply and delivers you soft and smooth hands. A good handcreme is necessary, especially in winter when the wind and snow makes your hands feel extremely dry.

Bourjois Magic Nail polish remover

I don't want to hear your ravings about good nail polish removers! I found the one that is perfect AND let your hands smell so good! It is 'magic' because it only needs a little bit of time to remove all the nail polish of your finger. The package says it takes 1 second, but I think that's a bit to exaggerated. A good 10 to 15 seconds is better. But still, that's better than any other remover don't you think.. It is a bit expensive though, about 6€, BUT I use this for already quite a long time and let's not forget the good smell you get afterwards.. Who can resist a smell of red fruit and vanilla?

Essence Colour & Go - 146 That's what I mint!
Rimmel London 60 seconds - 450 Sunny days
Essence Colour & Go - 149 Hello marshmellow!

I am definitely aware that these are more spring/summer colours, but I cannot resist them. I even combine them. The mint or the purple one on all of my nails except my ring finger, cause there you put the shimmery yellow one on and you're good to go. Let's bring the sun into these cold seasons!

Perfume

Diesel - Loverdose eau de parfum

As Amor Amor is one of my summer favourites, Loverdose is my winter favourite. It has a warm scent and let you smell a bit like vanilla, jasmine and mandarin.

So.. This was a pretty long review, wasn't it? Have you ever used one of these or similar products? And if you have any products to recommend, please let me know in the comments.

Love,

Lynn

Welcome and have a seat!

Hey fellow internetters,

Welcome! After days and days of scrolling on the internet, I've finally decided to put my own blog up.
If you like music, beauty products, travelling, youtube, and many other things, then you are at the right place at the right time!
I'll post about very different things, going from concert or music reviews, to what my favourite beauty products are or to where I went travelling. I have a little baby girl, called Elune, so maybe there will be some mummy posts often as well.

Every sunday, I'll chose my favourite youtube video of the week. That can be a music video, a tutorial, a vlog,... Practically any video I watched more than any others those past days. I'll announce it on my twitter when I put a new one up. It's up to you to come and find it in the navigation bar up above (oooh surprise surprise)

Make yourself comfortable and enjoy.

Love,

Lynn x
